The world is slowly moving back to normal again, however for now flying is still dificult and not that common anymore as it used to be. In this blog I will advise you on stuff you now need to think about before you are even in the plane. Hope it helps you a bit.
Check the requirements
Some countries require aditional paperwork, think about a negative PCR test, or even a proof of vacination. I always check this site: Traveldoc when I book and even before I check in. You never know when something will change. Sometimes you need proof of a health insurance as well.
Health declaration needed?
I also check if I need any health declaration, normally this a form your airline will give to you, or you fill it in digitally during check in or at the airport. Are you not sure? Check with your airline.
Items to take with you in hand luggage
- Mouth masks – KN95 – 1 for every 3 hours.
- Hand sanitizer – 50 ml bottles
- Sanitizer wipes – anything with some alcohol on it
- Documents you need (health declaration, get copies).
- Extra water bottle just in case.
Just make sure you keep washing your hands, especially after you just gave your passport away for a inspection, whenever you have been near something that could have been touched by someone else. In the plane itself, try to keep seated as much as possible and when leaving the plane, keep your distance again.
Also check if you need to self quarantaine for an x ammount of days, the airline should be able to tell you this as well.
Hope this blogpost helps you, please leave a comment if you have any other tips.
