Cliffs of Moher, Ireland

During the summer, Andrea and I decided to book a Paddywagon tour around the Wild Atlantic Coast. The tour would take the whole day and would bring us around the different views of the amazing west coast of Ireland close to Galway.

I never expected it to be this beautiful, the tour started simply at the mini cliffs, via an abondend castle we went to the Cliffs of Moher. The view is just amazing. We had plenty of time to explore and afterwards we drink some beer in a pub that exists since the 1640.

The tourguide himself had a lot of knowledge and was funny too, he explained everything very well to us. We started at 7am and we returned around 8pm. Basically the whole day, but well worth it!

Interesting facts about the Cliffs of Moher:

  • Maximum height 214 meters.
  • O’Brien’s Tower stands near the highest point and has served as a viewing point for visitors for hundreds of years.
  • Receives over 1 million visitors per year.
